About Me
I am a post graduate student at Royal Holloway College, University of London, just finishing up my masters in international relations and just about to start my PhD. This blog will hopefully act as an outlet for my musings, as well as for some of the talented people I am lucky enough to be around.
For those of you who are interested in such things, here is a little of my background.
My home town is Northampton, but thankfully I escaped to Hong Kong straight after school. Smitten with Asia, I ended up doing a degree in Japanese and Education studies at Oxford Brookes and Kitakyshu University, and spent a further two years teaching and translating in Gifu, Japan. After having a lot of fun I decided it was time to get back to some study. Thankfully I got onto the IR programme at Holloway and am now looking forward to three years of hard graft towards a doctorate.

but then skips a discussion of “legality” leading to Foucault’s “contextualizing” of ideals such as justice.
